Get to know Breast Surgeon Dr. Veronica Ferencz, who serves patients in New York.
As a fellowship-trained breast surgeon, Dr. Ferencz provides compassionate and personalized care for patients with breast cancer and performs a wide range of procedures for all diseases of the breast, including biopsies, lumpectomies, and mastectomies. She joined Crystal Run Healthcare in 2017, looking after the communities of Monroe and Newburgh, New York. Among Dr. Ferencz’s clinical interests include high-risk breast cancer screening, breast cancer awareness, and community education/involvement. She graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Wanting to further her education, she completed her internship and residency in surgery at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. She then advanced her medical training by completing a fellowship in breast surgery at Mount Sinai Morningside & Mount Sinai West. Additionally, she holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Joseph’s University. A Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS), the doctor is board-certified in general surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).
